Biography of Pastor Bouie: Oct. 2000
Pastor: Rev. David Bouie Sr.
Grace and peace be unto you from God our father, in Jesus Christ our Lord. It’s another day’s journey and we are excited about it! God has done marvelous and miraculous things in the life of the Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church and we are truly grateful!
Of course our mission here on earth as commanded by God “Developing Devoted Disciples for Christ” (Matthew 28:18-20) is still the same. We continue to offer Christ to the unsaved, as well as offer a place of worship to those who are without a church home. We are a family of believers with values and principles based entirely on the word of God and together we relentlessly seek to grow closer to Him and to one another. The scripture teaches us that we are to be lights in this world of darkness (Matthew 5:14).
One that leads and guides people to saving faith in Jesus simply by the way we witness, live, love and interact with others in this dying world...to simply be willing to openly share our hearts for ministry with the less fortunate and the unsaved through everyday efforts that are guided by the teaching of God’s holy word.
Thank you for visiting this site and it is my earnest prayer as Pastor that your experience would be both spiritually enriching and enlightening. We petition for your prayers of support as we continue to seek and follow God’s direction for this Church and ministry.
On behalf of The Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church, I trust that you will join us in continuing to worship a God who is indeed honorable and praiseworthy for who He is and the great things He has done, continues to do and will surely do in the future! As we go into the years of 2000.
If you are reading this, and if you are ever in the area of Holly Springs Church, drop on by and fellowship with us because we would surely love to see you
David Bouie Sr., Pastor and Teacher:
